Creation
With a concept and vision in mind, the artist is free to create the analog, or digital, elements of their Elegraph print series. From working with oils on a physical substrate, to capturing new photography, or painting with software, the Elegraph process allows for the artist’s hand to flow through even when engaging with a variety of mediums.

The Art Digital Master File (ADMF)
Using technology originally developed for the forensic analysis of the Mona Lisa, the alta team will capture the colour and texture of your analog work to the depth of one-tenth of a human hair. All the nuance of your brushstrokes and any additional input media will be digitized, with perfect colour. The resulting millions of data points are collated into multiple discrete channels that become an artist’s digital palette.

In a virtual setting, opportunities feel infinite, with the flexibility to dive deep, take risks and experiment – all with the comfort of being able to rewind, undo, and take a step back to try something different.
